Seven Crosses
X Marks is an adventure chat for adults, laid out as a map. It opened in November 2026 and the whole archipelago, with every woman on it, is invented and run by AI.
What this is
We drew a small sea with seven islands, put sixteen women on them, and gave each one a single written clue that names another. That is the whole machine. You parley with a woman, she decides whether you have earned her sentence, and the sentence sends you across the water to the next. Players who found ordinary companion lists too flat tend to like having a route.
On the name
The address looks like a louder and cruder site, and we want to be plain that we have no connection with it. The cross in the name is a mark on a chart. There are no recordings here, no performers and no moving images: only typed scenes and a portrait of each woman.
What this crew will never do
- Offer a prize, a wager or a payout for finishing the chain.
- Let a character invent a clue her card does not contain.
- Pass an invented woman off as a living one.
- Hand your chats to advertisers, brokers or anyone else.
- Draw a woman as less than a grown adult, in any scene.
Sending word to the purser
Someone alive reads the mail that goes to the address in the footer. Chart corrections, grievances and broken clues are welcome there, and the reply comes when the tide allows.
